Riding into the future

Riding into the future

Here at Offcut, we're obsessed with electric vehicles... and we reckon we live in one of the most beautiful little villages of the world: Sumner, Christchurch.

So we were super stoked when we managed to convince our mate Henry from Evnex to let us film him on the electric motorbike he built from scratch. We got him riding on the recently-opened road between Sumner and Lyttelton... one of the nicest drives in New Zealand in our opinion!

Scroll down to check out the video in glorious widescreen.

The man behind the camera was our very talented pal Michael Roberts from Michael Roberts Films. Check out some of his other work and you might spot the video he did earlier which inspired this one.

A massive thank you to Henry for providing the bike and riding, and Michael for providing the amazing cinematography on this fun little project which we shot in just an hour (in a rush to beat the sun going over the horizon). Enjoy the video below!
